Vegas didn't turn out as well as I hoped. I got extremely sick. I coughed the entire trip so clubbing was out of the question, so was drinking and swimming. However, I still had a great time. It is important to remember that the little moments make life great. No matter how bad things get... there is always something in life that is worth smiling about. Even though I was coughing and sneezing every few minutes I still had one of the greatest trips of my life. My wonderful boyfriend walked the entire strip with me and indulged all my little whims. I got to play the total tourist looking at all the hotels and casinos, watching the free shows and of course gambling.
We had dinner on top of the Stratosphere. The food was amazing, the view gorgeous and the company exceptional. (We went with two of his friends.) Even though we were extremely under dressed, the boys were handed button down shirts to wear, we still had a blast. Did you know that the restaurant spins, so you can see the entire city. The restaurant, Top of the World, was slightly on the expensive side but the price was well worth the food and the VIEW!! Oh my goodness gracious, one of the most breath-taking views ever. (And folks, I live in Colorado.) We walked off the elevator and were in a single line being led to our table and all of a sudden you heard a chorus of hushed Wow! As each of us rounded the corner we all were all awe stricken. After being seated we decided to order appetizers and entrees which were quite delectable. We are enjoying our meal when all of a sudden... someone jumps off the side of the building. I almost choked until I remembered they have a bungee jump ride of the side of the building. Pretty cool, right!
After dinner our group split up and my BF and I walked down to the Bellagio to watch the fountains. I have got to say, after an amazing meal the fountains were so romantic. It was one of those wonderful moments in life where everything just seemed perfect. We stood quietly, wrapped in each others arms, oblivious to the rest of the world and enjoyed the delightful shows of the fountains, and to make it even greater the song they "danced" to was so romantic little melody. *Sigh* like I said the little things in life.
